Default Is $20,000 enough bankroll to start 5/10 NL?

About to take out a loan on prosper.com to bank roll some poker playing this summer. Is 20,000 a good amount? I'm a group leader on proser and have good credit so I'll get a good rate. Therefore I think it makes sense to borrow the money, rather than grinding for it for months.

....youre nuts. most likely this is just going to put you in debt. i wouldnt recommend staking anyone unless you can afford it. theyre broke for a reason.

I will be staking myself. And the debt is manageable; about $750 a month for 36 months

This makes sense if you are a winner at these stakes. You probably want a few more buyins if you are playing shorthanded. Prosper allows you to take out $25k, why not get that much?
Can you link us to your prosper listing where it says you need the money to gamble?

I haven't made the listing yet. I'm an experienced lender and group leader though so I know not to say I'm using the money to gamble

What makes you think you can beat 5/10?
Have you been winning at these stakes recently?

I don't know if you are going to play online or live, but if you have been out of the game for a while atleast the online 5/10 games can be pretty tough and you will find that the games are much tougher than they were even six months ago.

Do you have any records of beating live NL games?
I think you need 500,000 hands recorded at this level before playing on borrowed money.
and small wsop events omg you are stting your self up for disaster if you start playing MMTs with only 25k.
Grind it out for mounths at smaller games TRUST ME you will not regret this at all.
