My read on him was he was 3betting me kinda light, hence my 4bet. It was hard for me to put him on a range, wtf do people call 4bets with? I guess QQ/JJ/AK?

I would say his range consists of the premium pocket pairs. It would make sense to me with aces, since were he to shove I think you'd have to lay down any lower pair. AK seems suspect to me though, calling your 4 bet out of position...but who knows.

I definitely like your check on the flop, and on the turn I think you're best off just taking the free card. I think it's most likely he has a pocket pair and he's very likely to call a bet after your flop check. Again, I'm not sure he'll have AK with you enough of the time for this to be a good spot for betting.
