Default 5/10: Pushing over a blocking bet

Villain is 54/25, floats flops and turns like a madman.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (5 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com

BB ($1734.50)
UTG ($1136)
MP ($1034)
Hero ($1349.25)
SB ($1776)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises to $40, 1 fold, BB calls $30.

Flop: ($85) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $65, BB calls $65.

Turn: ($215) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $140, BB calls $140.

River: ($495) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $144, Hero calls $1104.25 (All-In)

Looks like a T which I'm sure he'll fold. But he is a retard and will probably call with KQ+, but note that K2 is a just as likely K.

Thought I posted it. He was about 25/41 wtsd/w$sd but only over 300ish hands. Folded to 70% of river bets fwiw.

man 25 wtsd is super high for 54 vp$ip. that being said, it is a lot more for him to call. i think its ridiculously thin either way.

I like a bigger turn bet

I'm probably too scared of villain's potential calling range to shove the river

i hate it. I always get looked up by these guys when I do it. You see a blocking bet, they see a value bet.

I used to do these plays all the time, and they ALWAYS get looked up, ESPECIALLY on partypoker. Besides, he prob won't buy it b/c what hand are you representing? 79 doesn't fire another barrel on the turn. Clubs missed. 78 has just a pair of 8's. AK flatcalls here. You either have a set or nothing here, and he probably looks you up fairly light. He floats like a madman tho, so I mean, I don't MIND, but I'm saying if he has any decent piece of the board then yous hould jus not even bother trying to bluff this idiot. Personally, I'd check behidn the turn with the intention of calling riv.

i kinda like it, but since there are flush draws and straight draws theres a decent chance your 8 is good, i think a call is better since u have some showdown value.
