Default Bad start to a bad session!

Just sat down and this was my first hand. Afraid I didn't have any reads and no stats. Felt a bit cocky before the hand though (clearly a bad sign).

Put me on tilt for a good half hour. Think I should have called down for the sake of my sanity!

Please advise how I should have played.

Thanks

If you are going on tilt for a half hour when you go too far with what turned out to be the 7th or 8th best hand you should pick up a new hobby.

...any good knitting patterns gratefully received!

Personally, I think I should have folded pf.

Getting 7:1 the preflop call is not bad. But you need to think about what kinds of flops you want to see (2 pair, trips, open ended straight draw on rainbow board) when you make a call like this preflop. This flop would go under the category of flops you don't want to see so check/fold.

I would fold pf. I wouldn't bother beting the wet flop with our weak hand.
