Default Winstar roadtrip, best time travel from DFW?

I'll be making my homage journey to Winstar in a couple of weeks. Is the best way there up I-35 from DFW? If so, what day and what time is the worst traffic? I heard a few months back it was unbearable due to some construction.

The only way there is up 35 from DFW. I recommend taking 35W, though, the route is slightly shorter and doesn't make you go through Dallas traffic. Higher speed limits a lot of the way, too. When will you be there?

From the Keller area north (35W) it is smooth sailing (except this weekend due to the race at TMS). The only construction areas are just south of Denton and they haven't been working much their lately.

Tonight was a good night to go, yes.

The new room handles Friday and Saturday nights gracefully now. Hooray! Now if only management could figure some stuff out...

you want to avoid going north on 35W between downtown fort worth and keller or so between 4:30-6 on weekdays. stay away from 35E unless you have a good reason to go through dallas.

What if I'm driving up from Houston, heading North on I-45? What is the best way to get thru Dallas that way and get to Winstar? I wana take a motorcycle trip up there soon.

35E is the best route. be through there by 4 on a weekday (3 on friday). i wouldn't worry about much on a weekend b/c that's just sporadic, and you can't really plan on a good time.
