Trip Ks + 2nd Nut flush draw vs donk Deep
Villian seemed to minraise quite a bit but I never saw any of the hands he was doing it with. He was involved in a lot of pots.

Check call the river maybe? He has acted strong. Some ppl are just too scared to bet enough. Well, in this situation he just might be too dumb to bet enough or trying to induce a call from u.

Re: Trip Ks + 2nd Nut flush draw vs donk Deep
I often reraise preflop, especially if this is a lower buy in (<$40) where people don't resteal from CO raises enough. You will be able to take the hand down a lot preflop and most of the time that he whiffs the flop too.
I probably lead the flop for a pot sized bet because I hate to check-call the flop and then lead the turn. That said check-call is also fine with a good hand and a good draw. As played I probably check call the turn too. As played, I check the river because I want him to fire pot with the naked ace of spades. I am not checking the river because I am scurred of him having a better hand than me but because he is value betting thin and he is bluffing with a spade. |

The way I play this hand involves a lot of betting and raising and no checking and or calling (unless it's calling all in).
So Cornell are you advocating a check/raise on the river then? |

[/ QUOTE ] I check-call the river because I don't think that KJ is paying off a check raise. My check on the river is primarily for value. |
