Default Bubble Play with Big Stack vs Second Stack

I've either been taking first, or crashing on the bubble today. (Stars $5.50)

Twice I was big stack on the bubble, and second stack (and the only one at the table who could hurt me) was the BB when I was SB.

My question is, is it better to preserve chips, or play at the second stack when you have the better hand? In both cases I could have probably folded into 3rd, but in both cases I had at least two pair when the BB went all in on a draw. A win in either case would equal top three and very likely top spot, a lose would make me a short stack.

My natural reaction is to play the better hand, but I want to hear from others who play STT more than I do. Reads are they are on a draw, and assume reads are correct, do I call the all in from second stack when I'm 60% to win.
