Default SNG Bubble Situation

Is this a bad push by me? I have been running the hand through poker stove and ICM calculators and feel it is a very marginal push given the situation. But I would like the advice of some sng and ICM experts, thank you.

Hi D2,

It would help a lot of we knew something about Villain. Is he passive and usually limping/folding? Is this a standard blind-stealing raise from him? Is he the type who will call an all-in with a very wide range when huge-stacked?

Assuming the answers to these questions are mostly favorable, then pushing with your strong hand is the best play you can make because you are way ahead of his initial raising range, the pot is a reasonable fraction of your stack size, and you minimize your chances of gambling against a marginally inferior hand (such as K Ts) or low pocket pair on the bubble. And you are certainly looking
to avoid such gambles during bubble play unless you are on the verge of getting blinded out and need to force a play.

BTW, if you use a hand converter (see the FAQ), your hand will be much more visible and you will tend to get more replies. Just some friendly advice.

Best Regards,
Collin

I think the stack sizes make this very marginal, probably a push though. Also reads are important here, not only on the villain in this hand but the shortstack to your left, will you able to shove on him with little resistance later or will he be calling fairly wide?

2nd. If you could see his cards pf, you'd shove your stack so fast, he wouldn't have time to say "dominated". You played it right, he got luck - that's poker.

I am not being results oriented. Idk how many of you are familar with ICM but if you run it through pokerstove and an icm calculator it is extremely close.

However i am not disputing those of you who said I must push this, i am simply trying to spark intelligent debate. I myself am still not sure and am going to continue studying this situation

Thank you for all replies, and hope more are coming
