600nl the counterfloat
Villain is 26/17/2.5 over 200 hands. He calls too much and seems to float quite a bit (his fold to CB is 50%).

His turn pot didn't seem like a jack. |

Re: 600nl the counterfloat
make it 350. other than that it's fine from time to time imo.

Re: 600nl the counterfloat
I like it better with AQ or something, but if you have a feeling, looks good.

Re: 600nl the counterfloat
[ QUOTE ]
I like it better with AQ or something [/ QUOTE ] Curious as to why AQ is better, since if he calls we rarely have outs. I think this is fine, he peels you on this flop pretty often. The turn brings an interesting scenario, you can either double barrel or c/r. Unfortunately double barreling won't fold much, especially if he thinks you're getting tired of him. So a c/r is in order if you are looking to fight for it. Hope that made sense.. |

Re: 600nl the counterfloat
I prefer just to fire another barrel here.
If you wanna make a checkraise though, pls don't make it 270. |

Re: 600nl the counterfloat
I don't mind the concept of playing back if you have spotted a bad habit. But do we have to do this with 67o? I fold preflop, and if I do steal with the crappiest of hands, I will usually choose those to mix it up a bit by not c-betting.

Re: 600nl the counterfloat
I like the move but it will skyrocket your variance. Also I would make it a bit larger (320-350).

It's fine, just don't get carried away.

Re: 600nl the counterfloat
I think the nittier your image, the better this play becomes.
Still use it sparingly, and definately play trips/boats the same way if you do use this move. |

Re: 600nl the counterfloat
If you are capable of this with big pairs 8s full or the jack and u think hes floating obv great play though the raise is def too small to make him fold anything really and a small raise designed to get called so that u can take down the river is very dangerous and expensive
