Fantasy League -- Input Needed
We are in a 9-team, Head-2-Head, 8-category fantasy basketball league on CBS Sportsline. Here is how the scoring works. Each week, you set your lineup for the week and are matched up against another team. At the end of the week, whichever team is winning in each catgeory is credited a win. So every week, each team has the potential to get 8 wins, 1 in each category. Since there are 8 categories, obviously some of the weeks end in ties.
The 4 tops seeds at the end of the regular season make the playoffs. The 1st seed plays the 4th, and the 2nd seed plays the 3rd. There is no rule on the site that explains how such a situation should be handled in custom leagues. Assuming there was no decision explicitly stated at the start of the season regarding how to break a 4-4 tie in a playoff match...which do you feel is the more logical choice for breaking a playoff tie? 1. The higher seeded team (the team with the better regular season record) advances 2. The team with the better head-to-head regular season record between the two playoff teams advances |
