Default Having to send photo ID and Utility bill to withdrawl from WPX

I am trying to cash out $187. Previous cashouts went through neteller, but now I need a check issued to me and they want all types of personal information.

Why now?

Has anyone else ran into this?

If they are going to ask for ID to give us our money, they should ask for it to take our money to make sure our deposits are legitimate.

Dont know why theyre asking now. didnt have this issue when switching from neteller to checks, but why not just give it to them. seems easy enough

Identity theft... I try not to give anyone copies of my IDs. Showing and giving a copy are 2 completely different things in my opinion

Well, if you are going to have a problem with this then I would recommend you not gamble/play poker on-line. Most casino's/poker sites require I D before cashing out. I have had to do the I D thing a number of times and have had no problems. Of course, I have a separate bank account for poker/gambling and always have a low balance just in case.

Well then, invite them to your house so you can *show* them your ID.

On a serious note, many sites are happy to see the things that are important to them, and you can black out the rest. For example, black out your DL number. Don't know for sure if this will be good enough for WPX, but it is for some sites.

I had 1700 at WPEX and didn't want to have to jump through hoops to withdraw it, so I lost it!

I withdrew numerous times by neteller and checks with no id needed. Once I deposited by credit card they required id to send a check. I guess it has something to do with that. ID sent within a day and no problem cashing out.
