Does anybody not like the fact that BB's stack is only 40 deep? Is there enough money in the pot to make up for the lack of implied set odds? What if another player comes along?

This is an easy call for me, because you are first to act after the raise, there is a higher chance that at least one of the players will call the raise becasue you did. And the short stack will willingly put his stack in on the flop most of the time since the pot is big enough

I agree with capodu as to why this is a call despite bb's stack.

The only way a call is good here is if we flop a set, and either CO stays in and makes a hand or BB pays off. Also, if we get callers behind (which is what we hope for if we call) then we're going to have bad relative and absolute position.
Unless you put BBs range on exactly AA/KK you aren't getting the implied odds you need to hit your set. If you think he could be raising considerably lighter (you're ahead of his range) then you can 4 bet to isolate, but in a vacuum I fold. |

Good arguements both sides.
Since the majority want a call, we're gonna call. Hero calls $11, MP3 raises to $25.50(all-in), CO folds, BB calls $25.50, Hero |

my comp was messing up but calling is gross preflop IMO even though its obv not for set value etc. Repop huge vs a shortstack, pick up all that dead money in the middle, and take what is likely a coinflip w/ great overlay at worst vs his range, added bonus of taking the guesswork/dealing with other fullstacks hitting a set postflop.
