Anyone here remember when Nintendo fo America thought the original SMB2 was too hard for Americans, and instead took another platformer and added Mario assets to make SMB2 for America?

Wasn't the original platformer they did this to titled Doki Doki Panic or something? I only watched about 4 minutes (sue me, I can only take someone dying so much), but it looked as if it would have been insane.

Yeah, Doki Doki Panic was the game that was adapted to be the US version of Super Mario 2. I, for one, loved that game.

if you watch @ 7:53, he got the mushroom and broke the block up at the top. it would have saved him some trouble to do that and run across the top
