I was going to say something sorta like this but then reply that if the villain is pretty aggro and can think that he may think exactly this and then make an angry 3bet with worse hands and maybe better ones as well. I think it has a decent chance of getting looked up by A/K high because there's no way you have a 3 or 9 here ever and raising an A/K on the end makes no sense. Then again I don't really know why he'd be betting K high on the end either. I definitely don't hate the line but I'm not sure I love it either.

sometimes in poker when it doesnt cost you much in ev either way... dont you just love to massively piss people off? I do this next hand is a perfect example

Dealt to BUFFSTA [8c 6h]
JT3000 - Folds
LUCKY_MCWIN - Folds
CRUM888 - Calls $25
ULUVMEMUM - Folds
BUFFSTA - Checks
*** FLOP *** [Jc Kd 3c]
BUFFSTA - Checks
CRUM888 - Checks
*** TURN *** [Jc Kd 3c] [10c]
BUFFSTA - Checks
CRUM888 - Checks
*** RIVER *** [Jc Kd 3c 10c] [Js]
BUFFSTA - Checks
CRUM888 - Bets $50
BUFFSTA - Calls $50
*** SHOW DOWN ***
CRUM888 - Shows [7s 2s] (One pair, jacks)
BUFFSTA - Shows [8c 6h] (One pair, jacks)

sometimes you just gotta embarrass/annoy someone it makes poker fun

A thinking player would obviously check/call A high and K high prolly even Q high here and bet the best end of their range. In the heat of battle though the typical opponent fires off the third barrel here for absolutely no reason with hands that have showdown value. In the heat of battle they also pay off ridiculous hands here and dont think to 3 bet bluff. I obviously have a slight history with this player and suspicion from player location that it is someone ive played with before but that doesn't alter my read drastically enough to make this player dependent. I agree in principle with what you are saying though gehrig but most players at these limits analyze hands well post mortem but get them outrageously wrong in the heat of battle especially when faced with strange/unusual lines.

Howmany if this was the sort of player capable of 3 bet bluffing I think my hand is too good on the flop to pass up the chance to get in more bets. If im vs an over aggro guy gotta give them a chance to spew off here in a blind battle even with a slight holding like J4 imho

buffsta if he b/cs (as opposed to b/f or c/c) ace high 70%, b/cs king high 40% and b/cs queen high 15% raising j4 is still costing u money

Ace high is 100% and king high unsure hard to put a figure on the next two. I'd guess king high is a fairly high number as well. Queen high and random XX prolly about 15-20% as you stated. At the time I actually thought it was more profitable than I think it is now. Probably has some residual benefits if he sees me raise a hand as bad as J4 on this river though
