Default Best Location for a new pro

I am at a crossroads in my life and am considering taking a shot at turning to fulltime poker.

I am in my mid fourties, single, no kids. I prefer live play to online, and I prefer tournaments to cash although I have elevated my cash game in the past several months to reduce the MTT variance.

I currently play $5/$3/$2 to $10/$5/$5 spread limit and $224-$330 weekly tournaments and take occasional shots at $1,000-$2,000 buy-in tournaments. I also started playing sats for 10K events and won 2 seats so far. So far I am winning in cash with a small sample size. My online MTT experience has me as a significant winning player in the $15-$100 entries over around 250 tournaments. I currently am limited to weekend play. I expect to be able to elevate my stakes after playing full time.

In terms of casinos, stakes, living expense, living conditions, taxes, weather, etc. Where is the ideal spot in the U.S./World to make a living at playing poker.

Of course Vegas and LA are high on my list but LA living expenses are still high and I'm not fond of traffic or the desert. I just wanted to see what other options there are with lesser known locations.

If you live somewhere cheap you can write off all of your traveling expenses.

my vote
1. LV - no state income taxes, reasonable living in the burbs, +obv poker action at all levels
2. Tunica MS - 3rd largest gaming after LV & AC, many tournaments, cheap to live, income > 10K taxed @ 5%
3. AC - highest in overall taxes+living expenses compared to 1 and 2
