Default Top pair vs turn checkraise.

Ultimatebet .5/1 6max. Villain is 40/2/0.7 over 45 hands.

preflop
Hero is in the cutoff and open raises Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], SB calls.

flop (5sb):7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villain check/calls my cbet. (Cbetting here is standard right?)

turn (7sb):Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Villain checks, hero bets, villain raises, hero ... ?

call turn/call river usually unless villain is a nit...I hate paying off a nits' obvious 77/AQ.

Hero folds. He slowplayed his trips.

To be honest, I'm not sure I'd be able to lay this down at the table, but if an AF=0.7 passive player check-raises the turn, you're in trouble.

Yeah I agree now, maybe this hand wasn't post worthy because the pot is so small. I called down villain's KQs.

Off topic:
You can get the converter at flopturnriver to work with UB hands by typing

Powered by UltimateBet

at the top of the input field

lol i can't believe you are making a decision based on 45 hands worth of stats.

edit: als, lets say these stats were over a significant sample size, given his massive vpip, 0.7 is not super passive.

calldown. this is not always trips.

if the board were:

7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I'd be more likely to fold.

In OP's hand, the c/r could be Qx and other PPs often enough. Hell I'm tempted to 3-bet this turn.
