Looking for a Good Detroit/Ann Arbor area home games...
Frankly, I'm sick of the poker rooms in Detroit. No good casinos, insane rake, and piss poor floors. Anyone know of any good Home games/underground games in the 5/10-10/20 range?

Let me know if you find a good limit game. Everyone I play with - all they want to do is play tournaments.

why not play online? Most of the home games died down when the casinos opened; at least the good ones. I'm not sure if you got any answers, but I'd be surprised if someone invited a random person from two plus two...even if you do post a lot.

Frankly i feel exactly the same. Please let me know if you get any resposes via PM about this.
Coming back from Vegas 1/2NL game to our insane 100max $12/hr is brutal. I hear MCC has a 200 max buy 1/2NL with insane wait lists. I wonder why they hate us so much at Greektown. I mean the 1/2NL is most popular game and we get treated like hookers on on 7 mile. |

It's because people who are too proud of being from New York City are running it. I am not going to speculate on their sexual orientation either.

Do what I did. Move from Michigan (originally from Grand Rapids) to L.A. They have great games out here.

Re: Looking for a Good Detroit/Ann Arbor area home games...
I know of one that runs right now weekly. Home games died out when Windsor and MCC opened. Detroit poker really does suck, doesnt it? Either you play $3-$6 or $50-$100nl and struggle to break even or you play the big no-limit try to keep from drowning, unless you have a big enough roll.
