Table had been tight, but no one had contested a raise in last 3 or 4 orbits. Looked like a good spot the steal, did i price myself into a call?

youre almost at the point where its correct to call even if you know he has an overpair, and if he had AK youd be making a HUGE mistake by folding

so yes you can not fold ever here

homanga,

this is an easy math problem. Put some ranges into PokerStove and calculate it. For example, a decent range is probably

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 37.260% 37.06% 00.20% 236051700 1286694.00 { 99 }
Hand 1: 62.740% 62.54% 00.20% 398352000 1286694.00 { TT+, AQs+, AQo+ }

You're getting ~4:1 pot odds, meaning it would be correct to call if you knew opponent had an overpair.

I assume you raised instead of pushed to give the impression of more strength, and would never have folded on any flop had the opponent flat called and pushed the flop?

I question the reraise preflop here.
I would probably just call so as not to build a massive pot and then reevaluate on the flop.
JJ+ is a different matter.
You say the table had been tight, was MP1 tight as well, did he steal lots before? It would help to narrow his range down.
