Free coaching

If anyone would like to try some free poker coaching, I'd like to offer some.

Resume: I play mostly $26 MTTs and $200NL, but I have regularly played many games: SNGs up to $22s, lots and lots of NL cash from the very smallest microlimits up to $200NL (mostly 6max online), 6max LHE, mostly 3/6 but up to 5/10. I have played a few sessions of live NLHE and LHE cash, NL tournaments, a reasonable amount of HORSE online, and up to $215 MTTs, mostly through satellites. Since January, I have made 3 final tables, won a MTT, and steadily beat the NL cash games.

Methods: I plan to offer a full poker course, covering the following: Stack sizes (deep vs big), preflop strategy, your image, adjusting to others, reciprocality (thanks Tommy Angelo), bankroll considerations, buying in/quitting, and of course lots and lots of postflop play. More topics will be added as requested. I'll teach you what to think about, and help you try to pick the best move in any situation. I intend to give you a philosophy and strategy for thinking about decisions first, then move on to hands you question. Most coaching will occur over AOL Instant Messenger, although I might include some videos of me playing.

I'm mostly interested in helping those who want to improve their play in NLHE cash games and to a lesser degree MTTs, but I'd also like to help you become a better poker player, in every game. Be aware that my primary expertise is in NLHE cash.

If all goes well I may take on paying customers. PM me if you are interested and let me know what you play, what you consider your successes/failures, strengths/weaknesses, and your ambitions as a poker player. If this is the wrong forum, the mods are free to move it.

Hey if benlj21 gets booked up or you don't make his cut give me a shout (PM). I just had a baby so I don't have blocks of time to play but would have a few free blocks to do other stuff. I can assist in SNG and to some degree MTT, I don't play cash. I can't offer “free coaching" as in my universe that’s morally wrong to do so (no offense benlj21, just a different world for me) however… I can assist for a nominal very low cost - Gl to everyone..
