NL $25 - Reraised from the BB, hate these spots
Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)
MP ($29.13) CO ($15.40) Hero ($23.56) SB ($28.27) BB ($20.86) UTG ($24.26) Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.85, 1 fold, BB raises to $2.65, Hero calls $1.80. Flop: ($5.40) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) BB bets $5.4, Hero folds, BB folds. Final Pot: $10.80 This guy was basically a lagtard, (45/34). I have no idea what to do in these spots. I called with really no plan for the hand, and knowing I'd be facing a PSB on the flop. But I think my hand was too good to fold, and I just can't give him the pot and wait until I have a huge hand. What do people do in these spots? |

Re: NL $25 - Reraised from the BB, hate these spots
Wait till you flop a hand, then push top pair hard. It can be frustrating waiting for a hand, but out LAGging a LAGtard is a big big mistake.
You played this fine against him. |

The fold is fine, you don't wanna risk a lot of money with no hand or a draw, it's hard to know what these players are playing with, usually garbage of coarse but wait intell you get a good hand/draw and try to stack him, they usually play way to aggro for there own good.

yeah at this level you should play kinda tight AJo is good enough to see this flop but without any connection to it its hard to keep going against this type of player.. good fold

This guy was basically a lagtard, (45/34). I have no idea what to do in these spots. [/ QUOTE ] If the guy is not totally crazy, and there is reason to believe that he is playing back at you as he sees you are stealing, I usually either fold or reraise big to maybe 9 or 10. I dunno how horrible that is (can you fold to a push?) but it is golden for your table image. Just calling is pretty frustrating since most of the time you do not flop anything and have to fold to his aggression. |

Re: NL $25 - Reraised from the BB, hate these spots
I normally call in these situations. I do not fold to people playing back at me. It kills my image and my button plays become less credible. I either shove or just call.
I don't think you played the hand badly here. I'd play it similarly. |
