Take it from someone whose stepdad terrorized him all the time -- there are funnier things, most all of which are less cruel.

Taking aggression out on kids isn't cool.

The truth of rape and racism and many other horrible things aren't funny, either. But many of us still laugh at jokes about them.

So this kid's dad was an [censored]. That sucks.

I still laughed for a long time.

It may be a terrible, traumatic thing that this dad did to his kid, but it's still hilarious.

this type of thing seems like something my dad would have done to me (maybe not when I was as young as this kid), and I would have thought it was funny after changing my underwear. I don't think my dad was abusive or anything. If the stepdad is all buddy-buddy and practial joking with the kid, maybe that's their thing. If he goes around slapping him on the back of the head and telling him he's a girly little pussy, than it's an [censored] thing to do.
