Had to pass this one along b/c I love it. Giants/Padres game tonight, most total bases: Brian Giles -.5 vs. Bonds at +130.
Giles, over a healthy 40 at bats, has pretty well owned Morris batting .375 with 3 homers and 3 doubles. Bonds, over a much smaller sample of 9 at bats against Hensley has gone just 1 of 9 with a double. Plus, Bonds walks a lot, which gives more of an advantage to Giles. I like this one at this price. It's at 5dimes. |

This thread indicates why I stopped offering "total bases" props when I booked sports. Even when I posted the following disclaimer:
Single = 1 base Double = 2 bases Triple = 3 bases Home Run = 4 bases ANYTHING ELSE = 0 BASES ...I'd still have to deal with disputes from bettors who wanted credit for walks, HBP's, steals, even advances on passed balls and wild pitches. |
