Fairly common pf situation w/ QQ
100bb stacks. Squeezer is weak TAG, something like 25/10. Never seen him squeeze before. Same type stats for MP.

Re: Fairly common pf situation w/ QQ
Folding isnt that bad, your like 50/50 here against his range and it wont be fun to play oop.

Re: Fairly common pf situation w/ QQ
Some thoughts:
FOLD - You are only folding if you are sure he has AA/KK here. If you suspect he is on some sort of squeeze, he could have 99,1010,JJ,QQ,AKs,AK or something silly like AQs/AJs. Don't like folding at all. CALL - See the flop for $24 more. If he had 100BB ($200) you are getting 8-9/1 on the call to flop a set (assuming he will call all-in with his overpair). If the flop comes Qxx you got him. If the flop comes small-small-small (and you think he is stealing...let him take the lead and call down. RAISE - Make it something like $60 to go. If he was on a squeeze, he is gone, if he has AA or KK he will let you know. PUSH - Don't like. He probably only calls you if you are beat (maybe with JJ). All in all - I like the call, see the flop and play it from there. If you check the flop he will bet, so probably no free turn. |

Its $140 to call with $260 in the pot. equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 60.143% 59.92% 00.22% 172384116 626394.00 { KK+, AKs, AKo } Hand 1: 39.857% 39.64% 00.22% 114030168 626394.00 { QQ } Yeah, folding seems a great plan now!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Re: Fairly common pf situation w/ QQ
FOLD - is terrible, you do have QQ right?
CALL - is fine, take a flop and re-eval RAISE - is terrible, you can't fold after you 4bet PUSH - is not good, you are only getting called by something you beat, and it doesn't really look like a squeeze to me here |

Re: Fairly common pf situation w/ QQ
Ike, if we raise/push we pickup $45 the times hes making a move, and stops us having tough decisions preflop (flop comes Axx and he cbets we probably have to fold, but he can have anything).
He also might call us preflop with hands like JJ/TT putting us on AK when we shove, or thinking that his move looks like a squeeze so we might be pushing light etc... I really don't have a probably with pushing. I probably push like 70% call 30% but it would also depend on my image and my read on opponent. I don't see how you can just state pushing/raising is terrible (btw if we raise its effectively the same as squeezing but might allow him to make a bigger mistake than pushing) |

Re: Fairly common pf situation w/ QQ
Typically I'll call here and check/shove most flops. since he's on a squeeze I can see the value of 4betting here though, since there's a lot of money already in the pot.
definitely can't fold to a push though |

Re: Fairly common pf situation w/ QQ
A 25/10 NEVER shoves with AK over a 4-bet here. Calling a push sucks imo.
