I had this happen to me about 30 minutes ago, and I don't think I made the wrong play, but maybe I could have let this one go? What do you think?.........

Now some may say you should have pushed instead of calling initially preflop, but the outcome really would have been the same in this situation. My question is was the best play to push or to fold the hand before the flop, not putting any money into it? I'm right on the bubble, and I'm pretty sure if I held out I would have made it. I was shortstacked and had to face a tough choice.. I remember when I seen the hand I though "crap!!!" I was almost praying for a junkhand just to get ITM.

Well, I'll tell you this. The limp was horrible. Pushing is completely standard here, you will be called by many worse hands. You might not even get called, since you're a bit deeper than 3 BB's, it's not a totally trivial call.

Plus you will lose half your stack in the next 2 hands if you don't double up now, so if you seriously do want to survive this bubble and make 10 dollars, you still should push now so you have a chance at doing that.

200% standard push.

i limped because I was torn between the two- Im pretty sure i could of went over the bubble if I had folded, but pushing i had the chance to double up and better odds at finishing in the top.I know limping wasnt the best, so thats why i asked the question.

Usually, when you are trying to decide between two extremes, I've found the worst thing you can do is the midpoint. Pick a plan and go with it fully. Torn between push and fold? Either push or fold, but don't limp because you can't decide. I haven't found many exceptions to that rule.

Play FTW. You have to push... you lost a race but you still had to go with it.
