Default Suggestions on how to fix my leaks with AK,AQ and AJ

Hey guys,

ive spent some time analysing my pokeroffice db and it turned out, that AK, AQ and AJ are all loosers for me (over 5k hands).

what can i possibly do wrong?

maybe i cbet too much or is it just that i ran into a set held by a lag twice??

Cbetting is probably fine, just be careful about doing it(ie don't) when facing 3+ callers. TPTK is not a big pot hand, you should be exercising some pot control when you hit.

AK isnt ever gonna be a losing hand no matter how bad you play it. (sample size)

AQ and AJ , pot control

Your sample size is so small that you could be losing with big pairs too. Look through your losing and winning hand histories and see where you may be misplaying them. Post hands here that you may be uncertain about. At micro stakes not getting enough value from these hands could also be a problem along with overplaying them.

Sample size is too small. You might want to check after 20k hands but then it is still quite likely the sample size. Look at how many times you were dealt this hand, it should be something like 40 to 60 times. You have to realise that 40 to 60 hands is nothing in terms of variance that a complicated game like Poker has. Once you get into the high hundreds you might be able to make a first meaningful statistical analysis.

5k is not a lot of hands.

that said, at the micros, our opponents (generally) play decently against AK because a) they tend to put pfr on AK anyway and b) when we hit, our hand isn't hidden.
