6$ - TT in SB vs Buttonraise
Hello you guys, this will be my first posted hand here.
So don't be to harsh. This is one of the first hands of a Stars-6$-SNG, Villain is a losing Player(sharkscoped him). PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter UTG (t1480) UTG+1 (t2550) MP1 (t1360) MP2 (t1530) MP3 (t720) CO (t1430) Button (t1470) Hero (t1480) BB (t1480) Preflop: Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 6 folds, Button raises to t70, Hero calls t60, 1 fold. Flop: (t160) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets t80, Button raises to t240, Hero folds. Final Pot: t480 Thoughts: Guess i got the Odds to call just for set value, the typical 6$-donk pays me often enough. When i bet the Flop, i was willing to shove over his raise(at this buyin, i will often see AK or TP or just lower Pockets) but then i became a weak little girl because the game just started - later i shove always here - and didn't want to bust so early, keeping a healthy stack by folding. Too weak? Anyone raise pf? Fold there? I'd be very happy to hear some opinions about this hand. Have been lurking around here for some time and I really think this will help improving my game. |

Re: 6$ - TT in SB vs Buttonraise
um scratch that earlier, I'm newb I say fold and win later.
bad players who have AK or overs in this spot will reraise shove. This seems like he wants a call. I'm not a big fan of committing chips with so early when at this level you can find much better spots. |

Re: 6$ - TT in SB vs Buttonraise
This early and OOP I'm playing TT for a set value. On this flop, however, we _might_ have the best hand. So I just check/call and reevaluate on the turn.

Re: 6$ - TT in SB vs Buttonraise
9 people remaining after you call the 240 what do you do on the turn with 480 in the pot?
If a baby falls? If a face falls? it looks like only the 3-5th hand in the game and Opener seems to have folded his blinds without much post flop action which might mean he won't stab recklessly at pots. I'd fold, watch and wait for a better spot. |

Re: 6$ - TT in SB vs Buttonraise
I think folding pf makes no sense at all.At least play TT for set value, mabey BB also jumps in (3-1).I would not donk this flop.Donking flops always seems so weak so I would rather cr and fold to a 3bet/shove.
