If you ever thought a second about folding vs a fish, then you are playing way to nitty.

So everyone is ready to go broke on the first hand with TPTK? What hand(s) do you expect villain to show here? (I called, lost to A2o, and felt like a fool.)

Would you have played any street differently than I did? If villain is a winning player is this a fold?

There is no reasonable way to put these guys on a range, just call because you're good here so ridic often.

Hi Chaz64,

Well, the pot is around 2100 and it costs around 900 to call. With TPTK, very few hands that Villain could logically have that beat you (namely a set), and getting considerably better than 2:1, I think you really have to call.

However, I think it is very good that you are analyzing this hand since many players bust early simply because they assume top pair must be good. Sorry it didn't work out this time, but you made the correct play.

Best Regards,
Collin
