friend thinks party rigged - help with links/info to show otherwise

hey fellow posters,

i am looking for information/links i can send to a friend of mine. he plays at many other sites but refuses to play at party because he is convinced it is "rigged".

for example, i remember a thread detailing an analysis of expected vs actual hand frequencies at party. i have done a few searches but only come up with the "party is rigged" troll posts.

anything else you can think of would be greatly appreciated.

party isn't rigged. its just that alot of people have pattern mappers which allow them to see river cards before they are dealt

Nope, not anymore, the latest AI allowed the bots to realise it was rigged so they now play at stars...

Seriously though, the only thing that convinced me was playing thousands of hands, learning to ignore the suck outs and seeing a consistent upwards winrate graph. Should it falter and spiral downwards I'll be getting my aluminium foil hat out again to stop them reading my thoughts. Articles on the net, well they're not worth the paper they're prin... besides if you think its rigged then anyone who says it isnt is either in on it or dim.

If your friend has a perfectly satisfactory set up with other rooms and no need to return to Party you may be facing an uphill struggle. Letting him play with your money I suppose, but then what if he's right, or worse still, rubbish at poker....

It follows with careful logic that it would be a bad idea for party to rig their site. Party is rigged in one sense, they rake extreme amounts of money off of the table, but so does every other poker site. Other than that, they are fine and dandy [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

This may as well be posted in SMP, because it is really as philosiphical as any relgious debate. I see no way to prove or disprove whether or not cards fall properly on any poker site.
