Did I Screw Up?

The following hand just came up at $0.25/$0.50:

Everyone folds to hero in small blind who raises to $1.50, BB calls.

Flop, Qc-10d-7c.

Hero raises slightly less than the pot, opponent calls.

Turn 5h for a board of Qc-10d-7c-5h

Hero raises slightly less than the pot, opponent re-raises to $15, hero thinks for a while and goes all in (probably another $25 for the other guy to call). He folds.

I am a moderately loose player who does lots of bluff raising in position.

I figured he seemed commited at this point. He was getting 3 to 1 on a call. Also, if I make a min raise to $25 a smart player knows they are really being bet all their money. If this guy was smart he could have had Kc-jc for an open ended straight and flush draw and so just calling conerns me. But he probably had two pair or top pair and was drawing dead. I didn't know anything about him.

Am I an idiot who should be $25 richer than I currently am?
