Investing/Investment banking
Ok a few questions about investment and investment banking.
1. K first about investing, i have about 190k in investments, which r in a place called MDmanagement, the reason for this is because my parents set up an account for me a long time ago, and i just naturally moved my poker money into there. Now i am thinking about moving being more active in my investing because, im giving away less of my money, and im interested in investment banking and i think it would look better if i am active in my own investing. 2. Right now, i am in 1st year, at a solid canadian university and going into finance next year, what do u i need to do in order to get a good investment banking job? besides the obv internships and that stuff which i plan on doing next summer. |

Re: Investing/Investment banking
MDmanagement sucks, I have some money there but the site is gorss, the fees are large, and the order execution is horrible. For the time being put most of your poker money into Vanguard ETFs. There are lots of threads in this forum on why this is smart and on how to do it properly.
What school? PM me your aim and ill answer your i-banking interview questions as I kinda just went through that down here at Mcgill. |

Re: Investing/Investment banking
There's a lot of threads about interviewing and internships in the dorm, there's also a really long thread in this forum about interview brainteasers.
