excel 2007???

i just started working at a new job. i'm in finance, so excel has always played a heavy role in my work.

this is the first time that i have had the "pleasure" of excel 2007. i'm not really sure what to think. it is very pretty, and jazzy, but...i'm pretty sure that everything is running VERY slowly.

does anybody have any significant experience with excel 2007 vs earlier models...like 2003?

pros: looks nice

cons: runs slow, hot keys/short cuts have been changed, overall feels like my efficiency has decreased since everything has been moved around.

So stuff you used to run on this new work machine in Excel 2003 ran faster than they do now in 2007 or you just know how fast stuff runs on different machines? Quit fearing change and update your skills.
