400nl: what to do
Villain is 32/22 over 60 hands
Eff stacks 400 I open raise T9o in the CO, TAG calls on btn, villain calls in BB. Flop 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (pot $50) Villain checks, I bet $36, TAG folds, Villain raises to $78, I call. Turn 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (pot $196) Villain bets $102, Hero ? On the flop I figured Villain might be drawing/making a move so I called. I'm not sure what to make of his turn bet. I have a hard time giving villain credit for TT as I see him raising JJ+ pf and likely TT as well. |

Re: 400nl: what to do
I think it's a bluff. He probably put u on a draw after the flop call, and is betting the turn kinda smallish to look like he's filled up to try to take it away from the draw he thinks you have. I call and reeval riv. He 95% of the time IMO raises TT-AA pf, and you're ahead of all small pocket pairs. I could actually see him having 99 here and protecting his hand vs lettin u hit free cards to fill up with ur overs. Call and probably c/c any river. BTW, if he's solid TAG, 5 is never in his range here, so you're lookin good on this board.

Re: 400nl: what to do
BTW, i misread the flop... i thought it wuz T55- yea he prob doesn't have the case two 9's... i like c/call down for ~1/2 pot, and I assume you're ahead 85% of the time.

Re: 400nl: what to do
Looks like a flush draw or a 5, slowplayed overpair. I think I'd just call it off though at 2/4 a river fold may be more appropriate.

Call, and call on the river, too.
