Default Masters props

Anyone betting tourney match ups for the master? Lots of matchups at pinny and 5dimes. My favorite is John Rollins +105 vs Tim Clark. Rollins has been one of the more consistant players this year and he has plenty of length where as Tim Clark is one of the shortest hitters on tour and hasen't played well yet this year. Anyone else like anything?

That would be a nice score. I agree with them all except Cink/Wier. Good luck!

You betted against Weirzy??? How could you call yourself a Canadian! j/k...

Weir has been struggling, and he just got a new swing coach. Also, he tends to choke on the final rounds. But, he does play pretty well at the Masters and the majors.

It's pretty difficult to miss the cut at the Masters with the short field, and all the old guys that have no chance playing.

shorting Choi [at -140! wtf?!] is foolish. Guy's got a 3rd and a 4th at Augusta. I put some on him at 125-1 to win.

Immelman is a better golfer than Choi and has more wins. I agree Choi has done well before but he doesn't have the killer instict Immelman has. I agree though, its a tough one, thats why I only bet 5 bucks. I do love Rollins over Tim Clark at +105

for americans the 30c lines are prohibitive for betting golf at most books. bodog, 5dimes, and the greek all fall quickly out of the picture. i have found a matchup bet or two at wsex, matchbook, and skybook. i haven't looked at "finish in the top ten" type props because it is like searching for a diamond in the rough, plus i haven't studied golf this year so i don't even know what to look for.

i plan to watch the coverage and hopefully find some 18-hole matchup bets each night to keep it interesting. also hopefully my large supply of tiger woods to win the grand slam futures stay relevant.

1st Round Matchups:
Vijay Singh (+205) v. Tiger Woods (3 units)

Although the guy is a prick, and has had the yips with the putter recently, he is still leading the money list this year, and has two wins. His first round average is 70.57 since 2000, (67-68-75-73-70-69-72) with the 67 being the most recent. On the other hand, Tiger always comes through later in the weekend. He has never broken 70 in the opening rd, even in '97 when he shot -18 for the tournament. His opening rd average is only 73.14 (72-74-75-76-70-70-75). It seems he plays pretty conservative during the first round or two.

Money coming in on Tiger helps as well, as everyone seems to think he is god. Not to say he isn't a gamer, because that is his forte, but I like Vijay at +205 on Thursday.

I'm looking at the rest of the matchups for tomorrow and the rest of the week and will hopefully find some other possibilities to bet.
