Two 5/10 Live hands from yesterday (Part 1)
This is one of the spots I was uncomfortable in during a long 5/10 session yesterday. The game is quite typical - mostly loose passive. There are too many villains in this hand:
Villain 1: Too loose semi-passive. He presented the image of being a good player when he first started, but it later became apparent that he was spewing chips. He may not have started tilting till after this hand. I never caught him bluffing. Villain 2: Very laggy aggressive player who was on a multi-day hot streak. He played tight when he first sat, but once he got chips he was very loose and agro, straddle, etc. He would sometimes semi-bluff in ridiculous situations, but was actually tough to play against. Villain 3: Unknown mid-twenties female. Looked loose passive after just a few hands, but I had the impression that she was a little better than the rest for some reason. Preflop: I raise K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in MP2. No more raises. Flop: 6 players, 12 small bets K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checks, Villain 1 bets, Villain 2 raises, 1 fold, Villain 3 3-bets, Hero ??? |
