Home run derby pool

I'm entering a home run derby pool. We must pick players from each of these 10 groups. A winner will be determined by whichever group of batters drives in the most home runs for the year, excluding the worst two batters from each group (so only the best eight hitters from each home run derby team are counted. Write-ins are allowed for groups 9 and 10, but the write-ins can't be players already in a group. Any homers hit before the derby begins will be applied retroactively, so the whole season counts. Winner takes all.

I may take Ortiz in group 1 due to his track record and better peripherals. Teixeira and Miguel Cabrera are slam dunks, IMO. I may write-in a guy like Chad Tracy in place of the Group 9/10 picks.

2) A.Jones is the clear pick
3) A.Ramirez with Manny, ARod or Holliday good options
4) D.Lee I think he is healthy and ready to go 40+ again
5) Teixeira will smoke this field
6) Konerko in a route
7) Some good sleepers here. Too bad they are all in the same group. I would go with Sizemore but LaRoche, Monroe and Atkins all have upside
8) I actually think it is very close between Hunter and Cabrera with Wright also an option
9) Huff
10) A. Gonzalez

I would consider writing in J.Willingham in either group 9 or 10. This sounds like a fun pool. I'm in one where you pick 2 players from last years top 10 and 5 players who weren't in the top 10. Good luck with whatever you decide.

There are 20 people on the email list. We can enter as many times as we want for $10 a pop. Not sure how many there will actually be.
