Anyone play there?
Any idea of games being spread like 15/30 and up?

I played there a few years ago. I don't remember the casino, but they spread 2-10 spread limit and 2-10-15 spread limit.

Short but decent thread from last year: Deadwood, SD?

another thread from July: New cardroom in Deadwood on July 1st - Lucky Nugget

Patrick del Poker Grande started another thread in 2005, and then followed it up with a trip report, also in the same thread: Deadwood

Also off site there is a site dedicated to Deadwood poker

Sounds like Saloon #10. Was there sawdust on the floor?

I haven't been there in a awhile but here are the places I know had games
Cadillac Jack's
Silverado Casino
Saloon #10
Lucky Nugget Card Club
Gold Dust

Last I heard it was all pretty much lower limit kind of stuff with a lot of tourney's and the occasional higher limit game. If you are looking for a higher limit game you probably want to call the places and see if there is a particular night they are going of if they ever have them.

I'd especially would love to get an update, TR, something in regards to the Lucky Nugget Card Club.

It opened last year and the pictures on its website show to have a decent turnout (though I'm certain it's for a tournament). The one picture alone had people at 7 tables... that's probably 35%-65% of the tables going in Deadwood at any one time right there.

I'm planning to finally (finally) go back up there in the late-summer after the WSOP clears out of Vegas. Gonna have to schedule to possibly catch the tail-end (start or finish) of Sturgis.

Bigger games are pretty much evening/weekend only.

I am in Deadwood right now and will be here all week. So far I have played at two places:

Cadillac Jacks has 4 tables. Last night they had one table of 2-10 spread limit going. Tonight they had a 5-50 spread limit game going with people buying in for a full rack of red. This game apparently goes Mon/Wed nights as well as Fri/Sat later afternoon. I was also told that a 5-100 game sometimes occurs and this is a huge action game.

Silverado has about 6 tables. Tonight they had a 3-12 spread limit game going on 2 tables, one of which was a must move.

Will post more details and answer any questions if anybody wishes. I'll probably be playing in most of the rooms as the week goes on.

Sweet.

Lucky Nugget Card Room. Any and all details. I wanna know much more about the place since I felt at the time of it opening that a 15-table room in Deadwood was quite aggresive and possibly disasterous. Wanna know how its doing, how many games in there, the whole nine.

Ditto!
I am also curious if they still have the 1.5/3 game going there. I swear I was told that they had this!

LOL, Ya, gotta love a saloon with sawdust on the floor featuring the chair that Wild Bill Hickok was killed in.
