UTG calls, 2 folds, SB calls, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $8</font>, UTG folds, SB calls.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($20, 2 players)
SB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $14</font>, <font color="#cc0000">SB raises to $28</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($76, 2 players)

pretty sure turn didnt help him, the raise was for value/cheap showdown/protection, no?

He bet 19 in a 76 pot. Do you think raising is the way to go for cheap showdown?

By calling you would've (most likely) seen the showdown for less money than you spent on raising and folding.

PFR is to small, make it 10 or 12 next time.

Like the flop action.

Call and re-evaluate on the turn. You do not have a hand that warrants this kind of "protection".

i don't like the turn raise - doesn't seem to accomplish much... i would just call turn then call or fold on river depending...

Preflop: 4xBB plus a BB for each limper.
Flop: Fine.
Turn: Just call.
River: Call any cheap bet. If he bets harder I suspect he flopped a flush.
