Anyone looking to get pwned mtgo style? I have a casual extended and a tourney standard deck...
Is there a way to make magic cards a gambling game?

Y'know those 500+ people ones with a payout of like $1000+ 1st place HIGH ROLLIN'

I'm fairly newblarian...so i didn't know that... wow, so going to play one of those... also...I run a tourney deck that was popular like 2 years ago people laugh when they see it but I win more than my share in the 8 persons. It beats the [censored] out of that mono green aggro deck thats so popular...probably 80-85 percent.

[/ QUOTE ] mono green aggro is popular because it is mono which equals cheap with no duel lands. it basically kills the mono green and the mono red goblin but is less than 50 percent against teferi blue/black and dragonstorm. It also is like a guarenteed loss against a dredge deck...and a struggle against a discard deck but the sideboard is ready for discard.

Can someone give a short overview of the available formats/tourney structures/buy ins etc.
If I'd play I'd probably start out with draft just to get some online cards and all :P Also, can you win seats to the live events online? Alas, i haven't played in a while and have no idea what the current decks/rules are.
