Default My first \"big\" hand ($2NLol)

I normally don't bet this much PF with this hand or bet so much on the turn expecting a call but I thought I would win. I wasn't having a ton of success playing what I thought is TAG style at these micro tables so I decided to play looser (but still cautious folding Ax to raises PF and stuff) and really try to take down opponent's stacks.

I try to take notice of the really tight players and the ones that I see making horrible calls, then wait for the right situation. I would like to know what you all think of this hand. Also, is it preferred that I don't post results in white?

How can you possibly check that turn? As played (played pretty damn goofy I must say) push the turn.

This whole hand and stakes confuses me...400BB stack and opening raise of 15BB that get called...

Shove it in on the turn..

I definitely agree that I should have not just checked the turn, but why do you all say to shove the turn? The flush possibilities would have scared him just as much as me if we both don't have it. I might have normally thrown out a tester bet like .50-1.00.

You need to shove the turn so you don't give him a free chance to draw out on you. The "tester bet" you mentioned is horrible as it just gives him odds with any raggedy diamond. If he already has the flush then you still have the chance for the board to pair on the river.

That does make sense, but wouldn't most villains at this level push if they had the flush draw? I don't know what I was thinking.. maybe just afraid of losing my whole stack or wanted to take a card for free in case the 4th diamond on board came.

The pot is $9.53 on the turn. You only have $3.18 left. Push turn as you're probably calling the river no matter what card comes.
