Default KK on ugly board

Villain is 84/20/1, River AF is 12 over 40 hands so stats are pretty much useless here. Minraised on flop, had no clue what to do.

I think this is played okay. Against an unknown I think 3betting the flop is okay but calling is fine, too. Against an unknown i dont mind playing this passive (ie check/calling down) once. Take a note and use the info next time.

I usually raise more preflop since you're out of position with a bunch of limpers. Bet more on the flop, I 3-bet his minraise.

All in on flop after you get raised or all in on the turn here. You will be ahead more often than not here at this level. Given small sample size this villain is a maniac.

Carl

At these stakes I would shove every stage of the game comfortably.

I would probably raise to .70 or .80 preflop as you will be out of position for the entire hand and don't want to play this hand in a multiway pot. I'm not sure what the stack sizes are but I would definitely raise his minraise on the flop.

Shove the flop.

Given that you didn't shove the turn.

Overpair at 10NL= the nuts. Get it in. You played this hand much too passively imo.

[grunch]

What are the stack sizes?

Pre-flop: raise more
Flop: bet more, 3-bet or all-in depending on stack sizes
Turn: all-in

If he has JJ, TT or JT, so be it.
