Default Kill Spot, Bottom Pair

I am not entirely comfortable in kill games. Not sure if this should be in small stakes, thought maybe more players here are familiar with kills.

The game is 10/20 with a half kill, I am the kill the sb. One bad player limps, a spazzy semi tilting player raises his button. He has been raising liberally, was up but has now lost his winnings and then some.

I have J8o and call, BB calls, limper calls. Four to the flop, 8 sb.

Flop is AJ8 rainbow. Checked to button who bets. I ?

What does flopping the best hand have to do with kill pots?

raise?
you know you flopped two pair
did you post the hand wrong?

but first you shouldnt even call preflop
just cause youre the kill doesnt mean you have to continue
just fold and be done with it
you have a marginal holding for 1.5 the stakes
its just gonna add needless variance to your game

kill games tend to have one of two tendencies
sometimes players loosen up just cause the kill pot
other times players play tighter since the stakes have risen
if they play tighter you should steal a lot more
especially if you have position on the kill
and he checks his option
theres extra dead money in the pot
and the blinds are hardly getting the odds to continue
and will usually throw their hand away

I'm not a huge fan of PF, but if he's tilty, it's fine, I guess.

Raise? What's the question? You have a monster and the pot is huge. People will call anyways (which is good), but if not, you can still protect your hand against gutshots.

Stanza three is particularly insightful.

Fold preflop. I don't see how the turn can be anything but raise. I would probably bet out on the flop so I could hopefully get in a three bet(hoping button just has an A) with BB and/or limper now having to call two more when they already have put in one on the flop.

I was wondering if you made a mistake in your post.

Well seems like a spot to fold then.
