Default B&M Scents

So, I have been playing live poker since early last year. Why is it that when you sit down at a live cardroom poker table, there is a good chance that one of the two people on your left or right is going to have a foul odor to them? Today as I contemplated this at the 3/6 Limit Hold em table, I had a thought: a tin of Breathsavers might work quite extraordinary as a card protector. Today I was considering trying explain a teeny bit about what pot odds were to this older lass but thought first I should introduce the merits of soap to her instead.

In other news, the sky is blue. LOL This is common for as long as poker has been around.

1. Many poker players are foreign descent and dont follow the same hygienic practices as most Americans.

2. Many players refuse to leave the table stuck and end up playing very long sessions in attempts to break even and this often results in foul odor.

3. Many players come to play after leaving work, especially if the casino is in the vacinity of their job. If they work hard dirty jobs they sometimes smell.

4. A handful of players are homeless and probably have no where to shower or bathe.

5. Some malevolent players may actually come to the casino dirty and smelly just to disturb others. I wouldnt rule this out for some.

Someone should market a new fragrance: you could call it simply "B&M"

I can't remember the last time I sat next to somebody at a poker table who smelled bad. It has to be more than half a year and I think it's more than a year.

The bad smelling poker player is more myth than reality. Poker rooms ar filled with normal people who bathe regularly.

I think the floor people should start using paint sprayers loaded with right guard at the poker tables and just hose those smelly people down.

It's the Poker God's way of encouraging you to forget about educating her and just take all her money as quickly as possible.

IIRC, Atlantic City is implementing non-smoking regulations for most of their casino floor within the next couple weeks. I don't like the smell of smoke, but I wonder what other odors it was masking, and I am curious whether the casinos will actually smell better the next time I am up there.
