Default Maintaining Caloric Deficit --- Bad Time to Creatine Load?

I just got my creatine in the mail, but having injured my back a little bit last week I've decided to try to drop fat for the next few weeks while my back heals. I am maintaining a caloric deficit currently.

I am still doing lifting excersizes that don't aggravate my back, but I'd say I'm only lifting 40% as much as I was pre-injury.

Anyways, does anyone have thoughts on creatine loading right now? My other option is wait until I get back to 100% capacity lifting while maintaining a caloric excess.

Thanks.
