Re: 27: i can\'t win
Shove you have less than 5BB and hes probably raising a fairly wide range here.
Is this player ever shoving pf or is a raise like this standard? Maybe if this is one of the few times its a raise over a shove then a fold is a possibility. |

Re: 27: i can\'t win
Well then it's probably time for a push. Your alternative is to wait for the next hand and push any two in an unopened pot?
But on the other hand, one of my leaks is to compete in raised pots with unmade hands, and even though there are a lot of crapcard raisin going on of course, this bubble with 4 fairly equally large stacks might not be the spot.. |

Re: 27: i can\'t win
You said that it was his standard opening raise. Meaning he had been doing this with air and with monsters, effectively disguising his hands.
It worked on you and maybe there is something to be learned from it???? You didn't get bad beat, you got outplayed. FWIW, I raised 6bb deep in a MTT last night with AQ, got one caller. Flop was AQ9, I bet 1.5x the pot, he shoved I called. He flipped 89o. Turn: 8. River: 9. Bye bye Slacker. |
