Default Opinions on Erick Lindgren

I'm curious about how everyone feels about E-Dog. Every time he plays on TV it seems like he plays horribly, yet his record as of late makes it seem like he is a top-5 caliber player (i.e. the 10 mil buyin win). Is it possible that he plays bad on purpose, or is it just a bad string of luck or nerves when on television?

On that same note, people bring up the metagame comment in jest about telvision play (playing super-loose to get action, etc), but does anyone actually believe such a thng really has happened?

Plays bad on purpose? lol. What would the motive be? Most of the time he's on tv, REAL cash is involved. I don't think anyone plays a different way just to appear loose and donkish. Most people know Lindgren is the real deal. Any acting trying to advertise differently would be a waste of time for him and he knows that.

From what I have seen, Lindgren likes to play postflop poker, and has no problem calling lotta $$$ in marginal spots so as to dissuade people from making plays at him, (In my opinion). I'd personally consider him a top player.

You'd be shocked at how different people can act when the TV cameras are rolling. It really really affects some people.

I don't know about Erick in particular, but I've seen many people become rather unclued because something was being filmed.

Well, from his demeanor I wouldn't think he's terribly affected by it. I'm sure people who aren't used to the cameras can be affected though..

I used to think Erick was a bit of a Streisand, but he really rocks the sh*t in The Bourne Identity.
