Default $16 - AKs bubble with bully

Bigstack is your standard bully. In retrospect I think I should've checked the flop

SB (t9500)

It is very possible you were bluffed here beause he knows you can't playback because of two shortstacks. I think you made the right laydown. If the circumstances were different, this would be a call, but in this spot, I would fold.Let the shortstacks go out before you.

Yeah in this spot I would suggest letting go of the hand if the big stack can still be in it, calling is probably fine to make sure the shorties get some action, but I don't like betting or continuing at all without a monster flop (which this wasn't). Had the big stack already folded then shove away.

The stack sizes definitely make this a bit akward, but isn't this a push preflop?

As played, I push the flop. What more could you have been looking for on the flop? If you're not going to push this, then you should have either pushed or folded preflop.

As played, I fold the turn.

This is a tough spot IMO. I'm not quite sure what the correct play is. I probably would have limped it or min-raised it pre-flop to try to get heads-up with BB. What do you guys do here? Does anyone fold this? As played, I'd bet the flop hard, and if called, cross my fingers and pull the trigger on the turn.

Shove preflop, anything else is bad. Edit: Folding is not so bad as I first thought. I still shove.

As played, shove flop. You really don't want the flush draw to get there.

I didn't see you called with it preflop. Terrible mistake.

If you wanted to slowplay against a bully cause you thought he would raise (you probably wanted that), this is not the time. AK is not a hand you would be comfortable calling an all in here. You can push very easily with it, but not call an all in bet at this spot. If villain moved in after you limped, you would have a very hard time calling because of two shorties and the bubble. So - push preflop.

Now that I think about it the min-raise would've worked here. My aim was to either make the small stacks call me. If SB raised pf and bb folded i would fold. At the time i thought the risk of bubbling (aka if SB called with say jacks or some rubbish) was far worse then the reward of t700. I was thinking about this thread when I was playing this hand:

However my hand is far stronger than KJ so I was confused.

Why would we ever shove here.. sure we have 7BB but the other two have 1BB. I would kick myself in the head if I bubbled in this situation.

With that said it should be a fold.. unless you limp to ensure the short stacks get caller, if you fold and the big stack decides to fold your stack is going to be destroyed on this rotation when you have to keep folding. With the limp you are only looking to continue if it has a short stack all in.
