Live straddle allowed in a no-limit hold\'em tournament?
Is the Live straddle allowed in any of the tournaments on the circuit?
I couldn't find a "rules" topic to post in. Thanks |

The closest you'll get is making a raise UTG blind. That would be a retarded thing to do though.

[/ QUOTE ] A player in the last tournament did this, it was the second level so it wasn't that big of a deal, but he just won a pretty big pot and said let's gamble it up and threw out 200 chips before the cards were dealt, blinds were 25/50 at the time. Folded to me on the button and was surprised to find A7, my first reaction was 'ALL'IN BISHES!' but, i came to my senses and folded, luckily. BB shoved for his entire stack of about 2200, which made UTG look at his hand and was blessed with AQ, ended up calling and held up against AJ. |
