Default RR Pot QQ OOP as Ovepair 400NL

my only read is that villain was a multitabler and hadnt gotten out of line yet.

EDIT: effective stacks are about 450, IIRC

UTG raise to 16, everyone folds, i make it 52 with QQ from the SB, original raises calls

flop is 973 (two spades) i bet 70 into 105 pot he calls w/o much thought.

turn is an offsuit T (973) hero?

we checked it through and the river was a 5 completing the flush

hero?

I would check the turn and probably just check/call river.

fair enough....does his river bet sizing influence your decision at all?

is blocking the river a viable option?

i just looked the hand up and the board was actually 953 with two spades if that makes a difference. and the river was the 3 of spades.

obviously, i am giving him a VERY narrow range here, so i am not really that concerned about the straight draws anyway.

"is blocking the river a viable option?"

yes, I think this would probably work also. I feel like checking the turn is better here. Turn bet would fold out worse hands and only keep ones that beat us.

Now that I think more about it I think I like the blocking river bet better than check/call.

I'd c/r ai turn and once turn gets checked through, block the river for about 1/2 pot.
