Re: horrible KK spot 200BB deep..
Well, you can't really be worried about the flush so act accordingly.
The c/c makes me consider folding, but I can also see QQ doing this. |

[/ QUOTE ] AcKc or AcQc could be a possibility here, don't you think? Some reads would help in this hand. He could have JJ/QQ, possibly with a club. He could also have a slowplayed pair of aces. But I think a set is most likely if he's a tight straightforward player. I would probably fold. |

who Ccalls 24 with 99 77 ??? [/ QUOTE ] Well he's got $350 behind him and you're representing a big pair or AK so he looks to have some implied odds if he hits a set. Calling $24 preflop gives him about 14:1 odds on the rest of his money and he can't be that big of a dog with any pocket pair. To anyone who doesn't suggest folding here, would it be preferable to CRAI on the turn? Or else just call the turn and re-evaluate on the river? If we just call the turn and he pushes on a non-club river, do we fold then? Or should we C/C the turn and lead out for a river bet so he can't check behind with JJ/QQ? I guess if we're going to continue then we should CRAI on the turn. That way he might call with a flush draw or lower pocket pair. If we call this big turn bet we can't really fold on a non club river for the last $140. |
