A) You may already be beat. Villain could have A10, A8 or a hand like 56d that doesn't want to see another diamond come off. He also could have QJ no diamond, tried to get cute on the flop and then hit the panic button on the turn.

B) If you are ahead right now, there's a ton of cards that might beat you on the river. KQ with a diamond, an ace with a jack of diamonds, etc.

You're only getting like 1.3 to 1 on your money. Fold.

this seems pretty standard. I would have bet full pot on the flop bc Villian is a short stack and will likely pay off with any A, and I don't want him to draw cheaply.

I am rookie myself and learning like you but heres my take:

Calling with this hand at a 9 handed table is very -EV.My first play would be to fold but if you are going to play this hand I would raise it up to drive out some somebody that will limp with any Ax or suited connectors. Limping here just encourages more limpers with better hands than yours.

Maybe someone will give advice on my advice!

yeah I was guessing about that one also. Is it ok my PF play? I thought about raising maybe I would if limper was MP or something like that.
